Cada estado en el juego tiene una serie de departamentos que otorgan bonus diferentes. Cada jugador puede trabajar en cualquier departamento y obtener ese bonus.
Para trabajar en los departamentos del estado debe:
- Tener un nivel de 60 o más.
- La habilidad de educación tiene que ser de 100 o más.
- Estar ubicado en la región del estado donde se desea trabajar.
- Sólo se puede trabajar una vez al dia, al igual que se puede construir academias militares sólo una vez al día
Al igual que con la academia militar, sólo cuentan las contribuciones hechas los últimos 14 días
Los valores de bonificación del departamento se actualizan con el nuevo valor cada 24 horas a las 18:00 GMT y permanecen iguales durante las próximas 24 horas, hasta la próxima actualización
To get maximum bonus in any development direction your State Department must be number 1 in the corresponding rating.
For example: one of your State Department has 200 points and this is the best value in this direction. As a result your State will get maximum bonus in this area.
Another State's Department in the same area has 100 points and takes second place in the rating: this State will get half of the maximum bonus.

Types of departments
Department of resources
Each type of resources has its own department. Bonus from these development directions increase private factory productivity for corresponding types of resources.
Department of construction
Bonus from this department has an effect on the cost of state buildings construction. This discount only applies to the regions that were a part of the state for more than 31 days.
If the law was passed using this bonus it will show discount amount after the fact. The amount of resources, shown in the law, will be displayed without this discount.
Army Armor School
Bonus affects tanks resulting damage in wars. This only applies to the wars in the regions that were a part of the state for more than 31 days.
Space Research Department
Bonus affects Space stations and Moon tanks resulting damage in wars. This only applies to the wars in the regions that were a part of the state for more than 31 days. Also lowers the travel time to/from the Moon.
Bonus affects Battleships resulting damage in wars. This only applies to the wars in the regions that were a part of the state for more than 31 days.
